forever 21 dress, vintage blazer, thrifted belt, rebecca minkoff purse, charlotte russe heels
(Note to self: need to stop wearing the same accessories for each post...) This is kind of a "vanilla" outfit for me but for some reason I loved the pairing of the mustard yellow with the delicate blossoms both on the dress and in the background. I originally intended on returning this dress since I simply have way too much floral prints in my closet but then I realized that this dress is perfect for those 8 am classes when I don't feel like thinking about what to wear. This dress, a necklace, and my oxfords or gold gladiator sandals and I'm ready in five minutes without sacrificing looking good.
I've been busier than I expected this semester, especially since I purposefully planned for an easy course-load to focus on research. My new workout schedule and plan to start sketching again (and start up playing violin more...and finish reading "The Singularity is Near"...and...) are all cutting into my free time to read fashion blogs and reply to business/pr/interview emails. Though I have been emailing/texting/chatting with some friends from across the globe thanks to gchat and a short attention span in research....
I'm off to the gym and then it's an early bed time for me! I'm getting old ;)

  8. I love that blazer! It's the perfect color. And I love the silhouette you create when you add the belt.

And, damn, it sounds like you have a crazy hectic life. I know what you mean. This semester I'm taking 18 credits and producing a show at the television station here...plus all the extracurricular stuff, blogging, sketching, reading etc. x_x It's really stressful sometimes. But I think it's all stuff you love then it's totally worth it :)
