A little Gossip Girl-inspired outfit for you... a bit reminiscent of my stylings in this fashion shoot I suppose.
Life has been good... I'll be at a tech conference for the rest of this week. I grabbed dinner with two old friends from high school on Wednesday night. It is weird how many of us Austinites have drifted into New York City. I suppose it has to do with the fact that I know a lot of creative types.
Just a little fun kick of color to spice up the week. I've been prosecuting patents, eating tons of pumpkin-flavored things, styling photoshoots, attending tech start-up events for my clinic, and doing a lot more things than I thought 3L year should be about... wasn't my last year of law school supposed to be easy?!
I will update more on life once the craziness has settled down! Stay fashion, my friends.
We packed up suitcases of clothing and journeyed towards Marfa. I had the pleasure of bringing a bunch of goodies from Isabella Rose Taylor and from Apricot Lane with me to shoot. Unfortunately our bohemian-themed photoshoot was cut short by a car crash on the third day. Everyone came out relatively unscathed but the mood to shoot more carefree shots under the Texan sun was ruined. Only three outfit sets out of the planned six were captured.
I still had a great time amidst all of the chaos: the most perfect Texan sunsets that took my breath away, the mind-numbingly good made-from-scratch Mexican food, the laughter and conversations with my travel companions, and just a sense of peace when staring out into the rolling hills of green every morning.
I cannot wait to go back and to plan another photoshoot trip with these same people. The companion makes the trip.
